Greensboro, North Carolina, population 223891(2003), was settled in 1749 and incorporated in 1829.  It is the seat of  Guilford County, in north central, NC. Guilford County has quite a past - and you are invited to visit it!  Greensboro Historical Museum boasts 12 galleries and two restored houses showcasing the times that history was influenced by Greensboro.
